Main recipe for sponge cake dough
4 eggs
125 g sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
50 g margarine
1 pinch of salt
75 g wheat flour
50 g starch
1 tsp. baking powder

Separate the yolks from the whites. Add hot water to the yolks and beat with a mixer until a creamy foam forms. Gradually add sugar, continuing to mix until a light dense mass is obtained. Melt margarine in a bowl, let it cool, add it to the mixture, continuing to mix until a homogeneous cream forms. Whip the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form and add to the yolks. Mix the flour with starch and sift into this mixture. Gently combine the flour and egg mixture. Place the batter in a mold, and immediately put it in the oven.
