Honey Cake

Ingredients:

sugar 1 cup

1 cup of honey

4 eggs

2 tsp baking soda

3 cups of flour

40 peeled walnuts

vegetable oil

For the cream:

0.75 cup of sugar

400 g sour cream

Instructions:

1. Chop the nuts with a knife. Whip honey, sugar, and eggs until frothy. Add baking soda, flour, and nuts, and mix well. Cover the bowl with dough with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 3–4 hours.
2. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place parchment paper on 3 baking sheets, greasing them with vegetable oil. Spread the dough very thinly on the parchment. Bake each layer for 7 minutes.
3. Whip the sour cream with sugar. Spread cream on all layers except the top one. Dust the top layer with powdered sugar. Assemble the cake, sprinkling the sides with crushed nuts.
