Chicken fillet (boiled) — 350 g
Tomato (3 medium) — 350
g
Bell pepper (2 medium) — 300 g
Hard cheese (Edam, Gouda,
Tilsiter) — 300 g
Croutons (rye) — 50-100
g
Mayonnaise — 6 tbsp.
Garlic (7-8 medium cloves) — 15-20
g
Recipe "Salad "Snowdrift of Health"":
during cold season, garlic
is simply indispensable!
Cut the boiled chicken fillet across the fibers, the
smaller, the better.
Place the chopped fillet in a salad bowl (I have a plastic
container 26 cm by 17 cm) and press down with a spoon.
Press garlic through a
garlic press.
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes, transfer them to a bowl along
with the juice, add half of the garlic and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix well.
Layer the ingredients of the "Snowdrift of Health" salad over the chicken layer, pressing down.
Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
In the same bowl used for the tomatoes, mix the pepper, the remaining half of the garlic, and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
Layer over the tomato layer.
Sprinkle with rye croutons. I used "3 crusts", but it’s better, of course, to use homemade ones.
Cut a corner off the mayonnaise packet to create a small hole.
Don’t forget to warn your family that this packet has a cut corner, as it will squirt out from all holes when they start squeezing it...you'll have to clean up :).
And apply thin stripes of mayonnaise over the croutons.
Grate the cheese on such a grater. Exactly like this, to make it tender and
fluffy!
Layer the ingredients of the "Snowdrift of Health" salad over our salad.
All!!! Done! For those who like to crunch - you can start in half an hour, for those who prefer soft croutons - you’ll have to wait an hour.
As you can see, due to the juice released from the vegetables, the salad does not turn out dry, although there is no distinctly mayonnaise flavor, but why do we need it? It’s delicious as it is!
Instead of bell pepper, you can add cucumber, which will make it a bit softer and still very tasty.
