Ingredients:
cottage cheese — 400 g
margarine — 200 g
wheat flour — 480 g
sugar — to taste
baking soda — 1/2 tsp.
salt — to taste
Preparation:
1. The margarine is chopped, and then grated on a fairly coarse grater, mixed with mashed cottage cheese, salted.
2. After that mix the mass with flour and baking soda, and then knead the dough.
It should be rolled out and cut into circles.
3. Each of the dough circles is dipped in sugar on one side, then folded in half so that the sugar ends up inside. This semicircle is again dipped in sugar on one side, and folded, as in the previous step.
4. Score the edges with teeth to resemble feathers.
5. Dip the resulting cookies again in sugar, then place them on a baking sheet with the sugar side up and bake until done.
