From the specified list of ingredients, you get 3.5-4 liters.
INGREDIENTS:
Tomato – 1.5 kg.
Cabbage – 0.5 kg.
Bell pepper – 0.5 kg.
Onion – 0.5 kg.
Cucumber – 0.5 kg.
Carrot – 0.5 kg.
Sugar – 100 g.
Salt – 40 g.
Vegetable oil – 100 ml.
Vinegar (9%) – 70 ml.
Black pepper (peas) – 5 pcs.
Bay leaf – 3 pcs.
PREPARATION:
In a large pot, place the ingredients in layers:
- carrot, sliced into circles;
- cabbage, finely shredded;
- onion, sliced into half rings;
- cucumbers, sliced into circles;
- bell pepper, sliced into half rings;
- tomatoes, sliced into wedges.
Put the pot on the heat, do not mix the layers. When the contents of the pot boil (after about 10 minutes), add salt, sugar, vinegar, pepper, bay leaf, and vegetable oil. Stir everything, wait for it to boil again, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Distribute the hot salad into sterilized jars and seal. Turn the jars upside down, wrap warmly, and leave to cool
