Air-fried pies

Ingredients:

- 2.5 cups of water
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 tablespoon of dry yeast
- 1.5 tablespoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- flour (about 1 kg or a little more)

For the filling (as an option):
- boiled potatoes
- 1 fried onion
- a little ground black pepper

Also needed:
- vegetable oil for frying
- garlic if desired
- dried/fresh herbs if desired

Preparation:

Boil the potatoes. While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the dough. When all the ingredients are ready, just make the pies and fry them.

Flour (start with 3 cups) for the yeast dough must be sifted to saturate it with oxygen. Add warm water and dry yeast to it. Leave for 10 minutes.

Add sour cream, salt, and sugar to the dough.

Now, adding flour, knead a firm dough. Leave it near warmth to rise.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling from boiled potatoes, fried onions, and black pepper.

Divide the ready dough into balls.

Flatten each ball into a pancake, put a spoonful of filling inside, pinch the edges, and flatten the pie in your hands to a thickness of 1 cm (so that the filling doesn't tear the dough).

Fry the pies in vegetable oil on both sides over moderate heat.

The finished pies can be sprinkled with dried/fresh herbs and drizzled with garlic.
