Ingredients

 

  • 70 g flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp starch
  • 200 ml cream 33% fat
  • 100 g strawberries
  • 50 g powdered sugar for decoration

 

Preparation

 

  1. Boil water in a pot, then place a container on top where you will prepare the dough and allow it to warm up.
  2. Beat the eggs in the warmed container, gradually adding sugar. Beat for about 10 minutes. The eggs can be considered sufficiently beaten when a stable trace from a finger remains on the surface.

  3. Gradually add flour and starch, folding it in with a spatula from the bottom up.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, pour the batter on top, and smooth it out.

  5. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 7–10 minutes.

  6. Transfer the hot cake to a towel, remove the paper, and roll it up with the towel. Allow to cool.
  7. Gradually adding powdered sugar, whip the cream to stiff peaks.
  8. Wash, slice, and add the strawberries to the whipped cream. Mix well.

  9. Unroll the cooled roll and spread cream on it, leaving 2 centimeters from the edges.

  10. Roll up the roll and trim the edges evenly.
