Ingredients:
-200 g of cottage cheese
-100 g of milk chocolate (or dark)
-1 tbsp of sour cream
-1 tbsp of honey (or sugar)
-a few dates
-a few almond kernels
Instead of chocolate for coating, you can use crushed cookies, coconut flakes, or poppy seeds.
For the filling, you can use a piece of chocolate, sweet berries, prunes, dried apricots, and much more.
If you are using coarse cottage cheese, it is necessary to strain it through a fine sieve beforehand. More or less sour cream may be needed depending on the moisture of the cottage cheese. I ended up with 8 pastries.
Preparation:
Add sour cream, honey (or sugar) to the cottage cheese and mix well with a spoon.
Grate the chocolate on a fine grater.
Wet your hands with water, place a tablespoon of the cottage cheese mixture in your palm.
Form a flat patty and place half a date inside.
Or an almond nut.
Wrap the cottage cheese mixture into something resembling a ball and roll it in chocolate shavings.
Place the cottage cheese pastries on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to cool.
