Cookies "Pears", beautiful, soft, aromatic with a nut filling.
So, for the dough we will need:
Dough.
200 g of margarine
200 g of natural yogurt
1 teaspoon of soda (without a heap)
1/3 teaspoon of citric acid
3 cups of flour (1 cup = 240 ml)
Filling.
1 cup of ground walnuts
0.5 tsp of cinnamon
1 egg white
40 cloves
40 matchsticks without heads
Food colors: yellow and red or pink.
Or – carrot and beet juice.
1 cup of sugar for sprinkling.
In yogurt, mix citric acid and soda, pour into melted margarine, add flour, and knead a soft,
plastic dough.
In the ground nuts, add sugar, cinnamon, and one egg white, mix.
Divide the filling into 4 parts (visually), so that it is evenly
sufficient for all cookies.
Roll the dough into a sausage and divide it into 4 parts. Each part of the dough is divided into 10 pieces.
Each piece of dough is rolled into a small drop-shaped cake.
Place the filling along the entire length of the cake - from the tail to the nose, so that there is filling in both the narrow and wide parts of the pear.
On the narrow part, place a match so that half of the match is in the dough, and seal the edges of the cake, shaping it like a pear.
The dough is very pliable and molds easily.
Turn it seam side down and stick a clove into the tip of the pear.
Place the cookies on a cold dry baking sheet and bake over medium heat in a preheated oven.
The pears bake for about 15-20 minutes. The most important thing is not to let them brown; they should be white,
so that when coloring, the colors are natural.
Dissolve food colors in warm boiled water and use watercolor brushes to paint the pears according to your taste.
Roll the painted pear in sugar and place it on a tray to dry.
Even though it takes a lot of time to make these cookies, it's worth it!
They always amaze adults and bring joy to children.
And I won't even mention the taste - the aroma of cinnamon, cloves, and walnuts!
Walnuts can be replaced with roasted peanuts; in that case, there is no need to add cinnamon.
