From this amount of ingredients, 16 rolls can be made: - 1 pack of dry yeast (11 g) - 500-600 g of flour (depending on the quality of the flour) - 250 ml of milk - 4 egg yolks - 100 g of butter or margarine - 2 packets of vanilla sugar - 100 g of sugar - a pinch of salt For brushing: 1 yolk + 2 tbsp of cream (or even milk) Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add 1-2 tbsp of sugar and 1-2 tbsp of flour. Mix and place in a warm place for about 15 minutes to activate the yeast. Then add sugar, yolks, softened butter (or margarine), vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Gradually sift in the flour. The dough should be soft and not stick to your hands. Place the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil and put it in a warm place. Do not rush - let the dough rise well. Then knead the dough a little more, form rolls, and place them on a greased baking sheet. Arrange the rolls with a small distance apart, but not touching each other. Place the baking sheet in a warm place for proofing (the rolls should rise well and connect at the sides). Brush with the yolk and cream mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees (the baking time depends on the oven).
