Ingredients:
For the filling
- 250-300 g smoked sausages, ham, or hot dogs (to taste),
- 200 g mushrooms,
- 200 g hard cheese,
- 150 g semi-hard cheese,
- 1 fresh tomato,
- ? onion,
- fresh pepper, pickles, corn – to taste,
- mayonnaise,
- 3-4 tbsp ketchup or tomato sauce,
- Fresh herbs – for decoration.
For the dough
- 200-250 g flour,
- 1 tbsp olive oil,
- salt – to taste,
- 1 tsp dry yeast,
- 1 cup warm water.
Preparation:
1. Knead the dough. Mix the flour with salt and dry yeast, then gradually add the warm water, add olive oil and knead the dough.
If you overdo it with water and the dough becomes too runny, add a little more flour (just enough so that the dough doesn’t become too hard).
Thoroughly knead the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 30-40 minutes, covering the bowl with a towel.
2. Wash the mushrooms and slice them into medium-thick slices, cut the onion and tomatoes into rings or half-rings, and slice the smoked sausages into circles. If using ham, slice it into pieces. Grate the cheeses on a coarse grater.
If you mix two or more types of cheese to taste, your pizza will turn out spicy and original. Of course, you can also use just one type of your favorite cheese.
3. When the dough has rested, knead it again and roll out a thin crust for the pizza.
Note: the dough should be soft and airy; if it sticks to your hands – don’t rush to add too much flour, otherwise the pizza base will turn out hard when baked.
4. Place the pizza base on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. To prevent the pizza from burning, sprinkle a little flour on the parchment paper, then lay out the dough. Tuck the edges of the future pizza beautifully.
5. Spread ketchup (mayonnaise, sauce) on the pizza crust and add the filling. You can be creative and add anything your heart desires to the pizza. The main thing is that everything on top is covered with cheese.
For homemade pizza, delicious options include: sausages, mushrooms, onion rings, a little corn, tomatoes, and cheese. For a spicy flavor – pieces of pickles or olives.
Don’t forget to spread mayonnaise on the layers of filling to keep the pizza juicy. But don’t overdo it with the sauce, so the pizza doesn’t leak while baking.
6. Bake the pizza for 20-30 minutes at 200 degrees. Check for readiness by the softness of the crust. Don’t overbake the pizza, otherwise the dough can become too dry and hard.
7. Cut the finished pizza into portions, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve at the table.
