Ingredients:
Tomatoes,
black pepper,
bay leaf,
onion,
dill greens,
garlic,
vegetable oil.
Brine:
3 l. of water,
3 tbsp. of salt,
7 tbsp. of sugar,
1 cup of 9% vinegar.
First, we choose firm red tomatoes. Cut them in half. At the bottom of the jar (I used one-liter jars), place chopped dill, 4 - 5 black peppercorns, one small onion cut into rings, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Now, place the tomato halves cut side down. Once the jar is filled, pour warm brine over the tomatoes.
Then, place our jars on a rack in a pot of water and sterilize for 10 minutes from the moment it starts boiling.
After that, tightly seal the lids and turn them upside down, wrapping them until morning.
