«Famous plum pie recipe from the newspaper.
The New York Times immediately wanted a spectacle. The cake is very tasty. I share the recipe with you:
12-14 pieces of plum,
150 g flour or (1 cup 250 ml),
150 g sugar,
120 g butter,
2 pcs. eggs
1 packet of vanilla sugar,
1 tsp baking powder,
a pinch of salt
To sprinkle on top of the cake:
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon.
Preparation:
Beat the room temperature butter with sugar,
vanilla sugar, salt using a mixer. Add eggs and beat again,
then sift in the flour with baking powder and mix with a spatula until smooth. In a form (26 cm), greased or lined with parchment,
spread the dough with a spoon, smooth it out, and place the plum slices on top of the dough.
Sprinkle the cake with sugar mixed with cinnamon on top. Bake at 170 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
