Ingredients for the dough:

- 5 eggs

- 125 g dark chocolate (melted in a water bath)

- 125 g unsalted butter (softened)

- 1.5 tablespoons instant coffee

- 150 g powdered sugar

- 125 g wheat flour

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

Beat the cream and butter to a white color, add the melted chocolate and gently mix. Dissolve the coffee in 1 tablespoon of hot water, add to the cream mixture, and stir. Add sugar and mix. Now beat in 1 egg at a time, mixing after each addition. Combine the flour with the baking powder and fold into the mixture while constantly stirring.

Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 170 °C for 25 - 30 minutes. Let it cool, and cut into 2 layers.



Ingredients for the cappuccino layer:

- 250 g mascarpone cheese

- 250 g heavy cream

- 3 teaspoons gelatin

- 60 g cappuccino coffee (powder)

- 3 tablespoons sugar


Dissolve the gelatin in 1/4 cup of hot water, cool.

Whip the cream, add sugar, and continue to whip while gradually pouring in the gelatin. Add the mascarpone cheese to the whipped mixture and mix well.


Ingredients for the cream:

- 250 g heavy cream

- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

- 20 g cappuccino coffee (powder)

Whip the cream to peaks, adding sugar at the end.

On the layer, spread the cappuccino layer then the cream, place the second layer, cappuccino layer, cream. Sprinkle the top with cappuccino powder. Chill in the refrigerator, cut into cubes. That’s it.
