Step 1.
When you draw eyes, you should know that eyelashes are never the same. Some eyelashes look like dark spots or heavy branches, and occasionally they may change their texture to be sharper and shorter. It is best to get a clear idea by looking at several close-up photographs. Even the eyes themselves often do not look alike and are not completely symmetrical. You need to train your observation skills and notice all the nuances. In the illustration, there are only three different irises for the eyes. Darker, lighter, different reflections, slightly clearer lines. Notice the details.
Step 2.
The most important thing when you draw eyes is that the eyelashes should be curved upwards and outwards. They never go straight up. When you draw eyelashes at the center of the eyes, they seem shorter. This is because the eyelashes are standing straight and you do not see the base that attaches to the eyelids. Remember that you need to examine many photographs and enhance your visual memory with their help.
Step 3.
Many are interested in how to show hue or color to convey greater realism. Therefore, here you can closely observe all the steps for progressing in drawing the eye. In the first line, the eyelashes are formed depending on the angle. Notice how they change, following the eyelid. The shadows on the iris are darker and become much lighter towards the center. For reflecting light and adding more life, they are later erased for the light spot. Then we shade the rest of the eye.
Step 4.
Draw a V, then add the eyeball. Fill in the pupil, and then draw long thick eyelashes. You should also add the folds of the eyelids. Draw some shading to the inner part of the eye, as well as around the eyes.
Step 5.
Let’s start with a more solid and complete drawing. Draw simple lines for each eye.
Step 6.
Ready to draw the full shapes of the eyes, let’s add the lower eyelid. Draw folds on the upper eyelids and proceed to step seven.
Step 7.
Draw the eyes as spheres and fill in the pupils. Depending on which part of the eye is covered by the eyelid or at what angle, you can give the expression of the eyes a clear character. More open ones will express honesty and attractiveness, fully open ones will show fear. Half-closed will convey confidence or even indifference.
Step 8.
Now the eyes become more intense in detail. All you need to do is add some shading above the upper and lower parts of the eye before drawing the eyelashes. Then draw long eyelashes, adding a sketch of eyebrows. Eyebrows can be thick or thin, however you want to see them. Draw the nose and add visible details to the eyes.
Step 9.
Finally, outline the side of the face to complete the drawing. Erase the mistakes.
Step 10.
The eyes will look like the ones you see here. Color them with the color you like and leave me your comment if you tried and succeeded!
