Description for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) Size: bust circumference: 83 (92, 102, 112, 122, 132), length of the garment with peplum - 47 (48, 50, 52, 54.5) cm. Sleeve length / 28 (29, 31, 33, 34, 36) cm /
It will require 11 (12, 13, 15, 16, 18) skeins of Magnolia yarn wool/silk. Circular needles 4 (3.5) mm, length = 60 cm., additional needle.
Knitting density: 20 stitches per 32 rows, in pearl pattern – 10 cm x 10 cm.
26 stitches per 32 rows - 10x10 in pattern 1 or 2, needles No. 4.
Peplum pattern (number of stitches multiple of 23 stitches)
Row 1 (right side) *2 knit, [4 purl, 1 knit] 3 times, 4 purl, 2 knit; repeat from * to the end
Row 2 and all purl rows as per the pattern, yarn overs – purl.
Row 3 *1 knit, yarn over, 1 knit, 2 purl, knit 2 stitches together purl, [1 knit, 4 purl] 2 times, knit 1, knit 2 stitches together purl, purl 2, knit 1, yarn over, knit 1; repeat from * to the end.
Row 5 *2 knit, yarn over, 1 knit, 3 purl, 1 knit, 2 purl, knit 2 stitches together purl, 1 knit, knit 2 stitches together purl, 2 purl, 1 knit, 3 purl, 1 knit, yarn over, 2 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Crossed ribbing
Row 1 (right side) *1 knit, 2 purl, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 2 (purl side) *1 purl, 2 knit, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row
Row 3 *knit the 2nd stitch through the back loop first, leaving the stitches on the left needle, then knit the dropped 1st stitch through the front loop and drop both stitches from the needle,* repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 4 *1 knit, 2 purl, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 5 *1 purl, knit 2 stitches together knitwise, leaving the stitch on the left needle, insert the right needle between the 2 stitches and knit the first stitch together knitwise again, then drop both stitches from the left needle, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row
Row 6 *1 knit, 2 purl, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row
Row 7 repeat row 3.

Cast on 253 (253, 299, 322, 345, 368) stitches, knit rows 1–14 in peplum pattern
11 (11, 13, 14, 15, 16) times along, then repeat from rows 1 - 14 once more.
Next row - decrease (right side) 1 knit, [knit 2 stitches together knit] 3 times, *, [knit 2 stitches together knit] 7 times; repeat from *, last 16 stitches [knit 2 stitches together knit] 3 times, knit 1 - 177 (177, 209, 225, 241, 257) stitches.
Next (decrease) row (purl side) *knit 2 stitches together purl; repeat from * to *, last 3 stitches knit together purl. There should be - 88 (88, 104, 112, 120, 128) stitches on the needles.
Switch to knitting in crossed ribbing.
Knit rows 1 – 8 in crossed ribbing, adding one stitch: knit the stitch through the front and back loop at the end of the row, you should have - 89 (89, 105, 113, 121, 129) stitches in row 8.
Continue knitting according to the patterns.
Row 1 (right side) knit 3 (3, 11, 15, 19, 23) stitches in pearl pattern, knit 27 stitches according to pattern 1, knit 29 stitches according to pattern 3, knit 27 stitches according to pattern 2 and finish the row in pearl pattern. Add 1 stitch (knitting the stitch through the front and back loop) every 10th (6th, 8th, 6th, 4th, 4th) row. 5 (8, 6, 8, 11, 13) times from each side, knitting the added stitches in pearl pattern, until there are
99 (105, 117, 129, 143, 155) stitches on the needles. Continue knitting straight until the piece measures (30.5, 30.5, 31.5, 33, 34.5) cm from the start of knitting.
Armholes
Decrease by 1 stitch on each side, every 2nd row 11 (14, 15, 18, 22, 23) times until reaching 77 (77, 87, 93, 99, 109) stitches in the row. Continue knitting straight until the armholes measure (16.5, 18, 19, 20.5, 21.5) cm in length, finishing with a purl row.
Mark the central 35 (35, 37, 39, 39, 43) stitches for the back neckline with markers.
Shoulder slopes
Next row (right side) bind off 10 (10, 12, 13, 15, 16) stitches, knit to the marker, turn, next row (purl side) knit according to the pattern to the end of the row,
Next row (right side) bind off 11 (11, 13, 14, 15, 17) stitches, remove marker, bind off 35 (35, 37, 39, 39, 43) stitches for the back neckline, remove marker, knit to the end of the row.
Next row (purl side) bind off 10 (10, 12, 13, 15, 16) stitches, knit to the end of the row, next row (right side) bind off the remaining stitches.
Left front
Cast on 115 (138, 161, 161, 184, 184) stitches, knit rows 1 - 14 in peplum pattern
5 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8) times along, then repeat from rows 1 - 14.
Next row - decrease (right side) 1 knit, [knit 2 stitches together knit] 3 times, * [knit 2 stitches together knit] 7 times; repeat from * to the last 16 stitches. [knit 2 stitches together knit] 3 times, 1 knit = 81 (97, 113, 113, 129, 129) stitches
for size XS
Next row (decrease) (purl side) 3 purl, *knit 2 stitches together purl; repeat from * to
last 4 purl = 44 stitches.
for sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL
Next row (decrease) (purl side) *knit 2 stitches together purl; repeat from * for the last 3
purl stitches together = (48, 56, 56, 64, 64) stitches.
for all sizes
Knit rows 1 - 8 in crossed ribbing.
Continue knitting according to the patterns: row 1 (right side) knit 2 (6, 14, 14, 22, 22) stitches in pearl pattern, knit 27 stitches according to pattern 1; knit according to pattern 3 from 1 – 11 stitches. Then repeat from 1-4 stitches of pattern 3 once more.
Continue knitting in this manner and add one stitch: knit the stitch through the front and back loop at the side edge every 10th (6th, 8th, 6th, 4th, 4th) row.
5 (8, 6, 8, 11, 13) times, knitting the added stitches in pearl pattern, until there are - 49 (56, 62, 64, 75, 77) stitches, then knit straight until the piece reaches 29 (29, 29, 30.5, 31.5, 33) cm from the start, finishing with a purl row.
Neckline and armholes
Decrease by 1 stitch in the knit row every 2nd row 9 (13, 15, 7, 13, 7) times, then every 4th row 7 (6, 6, 11, 9, 13) times. Continue knitting until the piece measures (30.5, 30.5, 31.5, 33, 34.5) cm from the start. For the armhole, make decreases by 1 stitch
in every knit row 11 (14, 15, 18, 22, 23) times.
Knit straight until the armhole measures 16.5 (18, 19, 20.5, 21.5, 23) cm in length. Finish with a purl row = 21 (21, 25, 27, 30, 33) stitches. Shape
the shoulder slopes the same as for the back.
Right front
Knit as the left front in a mirrored fashion.
Sleeves
Cast on 138 (138, 138, 161, 161, 161) stitches, knit rows 1 - 14 in peplum pattern 6 (6, 6, 7, 7, 7) times along.
In the next row start the decreases:
1 knit (knit 2 stitches together knit) 3 times, * (knit 2 stitches together knit) 7 times; repeat from * to the last 16 stitches (knit 2 stitches together knit) 3 times,
1 knit = 97 (97, 97, 113, 113, 113) stitches.
In the next row make decreases:
purl row *knit 2 stitches together purl; repeat from * last 3 stitches, 3 together purl = 48 (48, 48, 56, 56, 56) stitches.
Knit rows 1 - 8 in crossed ribbing, add one stitch: knit the stitch through the front and back loop at the end of row 8 = 49 (49, 49, 57, 57, 57) stitches.
Next row (right side) knit 10 (10, 10, 14, 14, 14) stitches in pearl pattern, knit 29 stitches according to pattern 3 and finish the row in pearl pattern, adding 1 stitch on each side every 12th (10th, 8th, 10th, 8th, 6th)
row, 4 (7, 6, 7, 6, 1) times, then every 14th (12th, 10th, 12th, 10th, 8th) row. 5 (4, 7, 4, 7, 14) times, knitting the added stitches in pearl pattern = 67 (71, 75, 79, 83, 87) stitches, knit until the piece reaches 47.5 cm from the start of knitting, finishing with a purl row.
Sleeve cap
Decrease by 1 stitch on each side in each knit row 11 (14, 15, 18, 22, 23) times, bind off the remaining 45 (43, 45, 43, 39, 41) stitches.
Assembly
Sew the shoulder seams.
Plackets
On smaller diameter needles on the right side, starting from the lower edge of the crossed ribbing, cast on 41 (41, 41, 44, 47, 50) stitches along the right front edge to the neckline, knit 4 rows in pearl pattern, bind off the stitches. Repeat for the left front, knitting from the neckline edge to the lower edge of the crossed ribbing.
Collar
On circular needles, from the right side starting with row 1 of the right front placket, along the neckline, cast on 72 (76, 80, 88, 92, 96) stitches, along the neckline from the shoulder line 52 (52, 56, 60, 64, 68) stitches, on the left front along the neckline edge, ending at the first row of the left front placket = 196 (204, 216, 236, 248, 260) stitches.
Row 1 (right side of the collar, purl side of the jacket) *1 knit, 2 purl, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end
Row 2 (purl side) *1 purl, 2 knit, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row
Repeat these 2 rows 4 more times, then knit rows 1 – 8 in crossed ribbing. repeat rows 1 and 2. Next row (right side) *1 knit, [add one stitch: knit the stitch through the front and back loop] 2 times, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end.
Sew the sleeve sides, set in the sleeves, sew the side seams of the jacket, sew on the buttons, evenly distributing them on the left front, according to the buttonholes on the right front, which serve as button loops.
