CARDIGAN "SHALOM"

The cardigan "Shalom" is knitted in the round without side seams from top to bottom and fastens with one button.

Size:

S/M, bust circumference 32 inches (approximately 82 cm)

Note:

The cardigan is also suitable for size M (bust circumference 34–35 inches = 86–89 cm). For a larger size, you can:

  • Add stitches to the placket (knitted in garter stitch)

  • Use thicker needles

  • Simply add a few stitches to the main fabric

Also, keep in mind that the cardigan is designed for tall women. If your height is less than 180 cm, knit a few rows less.

Knitting gauge:

13 sts × 20 rows (stockinette stitch) = 10 × 10 cm in finished form

Circular needles:

7 mm
1 button

Abbreviations in the description:

  • S2KP2 — slip 2 sts as knit, knit 1, pass slipped stitches over the knitted one (central double decrease)

  • knit. — knit stitch

  • purl. — purl stitch

Where it says "knit through the back loop," it means that the stitch is knitted in such a way as to create a twisted knit stitch.
