  7. Row 13 (repeat from Row 1)

Each odd row is knitted according to the pattern, even rows (purl) are not displayed in the pattern — they are usually knitted as per the knit pattern

French raglan

The raglan parts are knitted the same way in the front and back — the fabric is simply divided in half.

The armhole is rounded and is done by decreasing stitches about 5 cm in width and height, then continue straight to half the total length set for the armhole.
For shoulder slopes, decrease 1 stitch in each row (the slope will be very sharp because of this).
The back and front are done the same way, only the top of the neckline on the front is cut from the middle of the piece.
The sleeves are slightly straight, identical to the classic shape, ending with a cap, into which a small inner scoop can be added if desired, besides the decreases provided at the beginning of the work.

French raglan

Basic knitting techniques — both in the front and back: increases are made in various ways (for example, classic or "twisted" yarn over), but the main thing — is the gradual widening of the fabric.

Decreases for the neckline and armhole height start after knitting the ribbing (for example, 5 cm), then continue smoothly along the total length of the product — to the shoulder slope and neckline.

Further slopes decrease 1 stitch in each row (the slope will be very sharp because of this).

The back and front are done the same way, only the top of the neckline on the front is cut from the middle of the piece.

The sleeves are slightly straight, identical to the classic shape, ending with a cap, into which a small inner scoop can be added if desired, besides the decreases provided at the beginning of the work.

                               Cardigan made of cotton

For the cardigan, 2 strands of Yarn Art Jeans yarn (55% Cotton, 45% acrylic, 160 m/50 g) in color pink lilac No. 19 and Letto Color City (75% cotton, 25% microfiber, 350 m/50 g) in color pink No. 2107 were used. Consumption is 9 skeins of Jeans and 3 skeins of Letto, size 44, needles No. 3.5. A light mélange will result. The cardigan is knitted with a continuous placket and side seams.   Close the neckline on the remaining stitches set aside in each row on an additional needle. The sleeves are knitted separately and then sewn in. The cut is straight without waist shaping.
