The sweater is knitted from Pekhorka "Children's Caprice", 400g of yarn was used. It is knitted with 1.5 mm needles.

The fit is straight, like a t-shirt.
The pattern consists of 8 stitches: 2 knit, 4 "rice" stitches (purl, knit, purl, knit), 2 purl.
Row 1 - edge, purl, 2 knit, 4 "rice" stitches (purl, knit, purl, knit), 2 purl, edge.
Rows 2-12 according to the pattern (do not forget where the "rice" is)
Row 13 - edge, purl, then two knit, without knitting, slide onto the right needle, turn the work to the purl side and through 4 "rice" stitches pull the slipped knit stitches (can be done with a thin hook), turn the work back to the knit side, knit the knit stitches, make a yarn over, then knit two purls, etc., edge.
Row 14 - everything according to the pattern, from the yarn over knit 4 stitches, edge.
Then the pattern repeats, only the "rice" will shift relative to the 2 knit stitches (as in a braid).
In this model, on the yoke, these "braids" are shifted by half a rapport.
Kettle stitch. We make a tambour stitch with a hook, then, I lift the nearest half stitch to the edge with a needle, make a cast-on and knit about 10 rows, fold it over and sew it along the stitches formed by the tambour stitch. Everything is thin and neat.
