Front/Back:
knit in flat rows on circular needles.

Cast on 159-173-187-203-223-245 stitches (including 5 stitches for the front placket on both sides) on circular needles 4.5 mm and knit 1 purl row in purl stitches, then continue with the Seed stitch pattern + 5 stitches for the front placket on both sides in garter stitch.

The front plackets are always knitted in garter stitch.

At a height of 6 cm, continue in stockinette stitch, knitting the front placket stitches as before.

Place 2 markers in the piece, at 42-45-49-53-58-63 stitches on both sides (back = 75-83-89-97-107-119 stitches).

Don’t forget to make buttonholes on the right front placket.

At a height of 10 cm, decrease 1 stitch on both sides of each marker (= 4 stitches decreased per row) and repeat the decreases every 9-9.5-10-10.5-11-11.5 cm for another 2 times = 147-161-175-191-211-233 stitches left.

Decrease by knitting 2 stitches together knitwise.

Continue until the height of the piece is 33-34-35-36-37-38 cm.

Now close for the underarm stitches 8 stitches on both sides (= 4 stitches on both sides from the marker) = 131-145-159-175-195-217 stitches remain on the needle.

Set the piece aside and knit the sleeves.

Sleeve:
knit in the round on double-pointed needles.
Cast on 49-51-51-55-57-59 stitches on 4.5 mm needles.

Knit 6 rounds in garter stitch.

Place a marker at the beginning of the round (= bottom of the sleeve).

At a height of 10 cm, add 1 stitch from the yarn-over on both sides of the marker and repeat the increase every 9-4.5-2-1.5-1.5-1 cm for a total of 2-3-5-6-7-8 times = 53-57-61-67-71-75 stitches.

At a height of 23-23-22-22-21-21 cm, close 4 stitches on both sides of the marker for the underarm = 45-49-53-59-63-67 stitches.

Set the piece aside and knit the second sleeve.

Yoke.
Transfer the sleeve stitches to the same circular needles 4.5 mm as the front/back = 221 -243-265-293-321-351 stitches.

Knit 1 knit row - all knit (with the front placket stitches remaining as before), simultaneously decrease evenly 11 -13-15-311 -21 stitches = 210-230-250-290-310-330 stitches.

Knit 1 purl row - again all knit and now continue according to chart M.1 (see Chart for your size) +5 stitches in garter stitch on both sides.

After 1 vertical repeat of chart M.1 = 100-109-118-122-130-138 stitches on the needles.

Knit 1 knit row - all knit, simultaneously decrease 8-17-20-24-24-32 stitches evenly = 92-92-98-98-106-106 stitches.

Knit 5 rows - all knit on all stitches and bind off loosely.

Finishing.
Sew the underarm seams. Sew on the buttons.
