The original model is made of kid mohair with linen, as well as the addition of polyamide and elastane. Like most of the brand's items, it is incredibly feminine. Perhaps this is what attracts attention to the designers' clothing.

The jacket has set-in sleeves, and there is a neat thin placket with buttons in the front. The sleeves are probably straight.

As for the distribution of rapports across the parts of the garment, there are 4 and a half on the fronts. The half includes the placket and a few loops from the rapport. It's hard to gauge for the sleeves. There are probably about 6 rapports there.

When I drew the scheme, I needed to check it. There was one unusual moment that initially scared me, then surprised me, and then charmed me. This can happen, but more on that later.

So, for knitting the sample, I took Alize Angora Gold yarn. Of course, it cannot compete with a blend of kid mohair and linen by any criteria, but it was enough to show that there are no mistakes in the scheme.

I decided that one rapport would not properly show the pattern, so I cast on 28 stitches + 2 edge stitches for two rapports and knitted 38 rows (now the rapport is 42 rows).

The outer triple decreases were knitted double, and on the other side, I also made double decreases using the edge stitch.

Pattern Scheme

In the scheme, there is 1 rapport in height and width. It is for circular knitting, with purl and knit rows. If you need to knit a sample, replace all knit stitches, including those places where there are double/triple decreases, with purl stitches.

Speaking of double decreases. Since the item is knitted on a machine, the principle of forming these decreases is standard — the stitch either goes left or right, meaning you cannot choose which one will be on top. I placed all the markings according to the original. If you want to have continuous braids of decreases as a result, swap left for right.

And there is unexpectedly a decrease in the middle, and the stitch returns already in another row. Isn't that unusual?
