DESCRIPTION OF WORK

BACK
On needles No. 6.5 cast on 72 (76:82:88:96) stitches and knit garter stitch.
After 37 cm from the initial row, place markers on the first and last stitches of the row to mark the armhole line.
After 56 (56,5:58,5:58,5:61) cm from the initial row, bind off all stitches.

RIGHT FRONT PIECE
On needles No. 6.5 cast on 28 (30:33:36:40) stitches and knit 2 stitches garter, continue as follows: 2 rows garter, cast on 14 stitches and knit them in stockinette and the «Cable» pattern according to the chart, the remaining stitches knit in garter.
After 37 cm from the initial row, attach a marker to the last stitch of the row (left) to mark the armhole line.
After 56 (56,5:58,5:58,5:61) cm from the initial row, bind off all stitches.

For the neckline shaping, after 49 (49,5:51:51,5:54) cm from the initial row, knit as follows: 2 garter stitches, 1 x 3 stitches together knitwise (1:1:1:1:1) across 4 stitches, 1 (4:4:5:6) stitches stockinette and the «Cable» pattern and 2 garter stitches. Continue knitting these stitches to the end.

LEFT FRONT PIECE
Knit as the right front piece, but in mirror image.

SLEEVES
On needles No. 6.5 cast on for each sleeve 42 (42:44:44:46) stitches and knit garter stitch.
After 7 cm from the initial row, place markers at the first and last stitch of the row to mark the underarm line.
Continue knitting, increasing for shaping on both sides in every next 16th row by 5 (5:6:6:6) stitches once and in every next 14th row by 4 (4:4:5:5) stitches once = 56 (58:62:64:68) stitches.
After 54 (54:53,5:52,5) cm from the initial row, cast off the stitches.

POCKETS
On needles No. 6.5 cast on 24 (26:29:32:36) stitches and knit garter stitch for 15 cm, then cast off.

ASSEMBLY
Sew shoulder seams.
Attach the «cables» (see the weaving diagram) and the plackets to the fronts, aligning their edges with the edge of the garment.
Sew sleeve seams and side seams. Set in the sleeves.
Attach pockets to the bottom part of the fronts. For convenience, you can attach them with several stitches along the pattern «cable» (see the weaving diagram) or fasten with a hidden stitch.
