Carrot cake is one of the popular desserts in America since the 1960s. It can currently be found in establishments like Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, and many others. It is easy to prepare, but the taste is incredible, I highly recommend it)

Ingredients:

Grated carrots 1 1/2 cups
Sugar 1 cup
Melted butter (or vegetable oil) 1/4 cup
Flour 1 cup
Baking soda 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Fresh ginger grated 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Raisins 1/2 cup
Lemon juice 1 tsp

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease the baking pan with oil. Combine baking soda with lemon juice and wait for the reaction to finish.

2. Mix the grated carrots, ginger, raisins, and sugar with the flour, add the oil and cinnamon. Mix everything well.

3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, place it in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
