Ingredients:
- 700-800 g of ground beef - 6 medium potatoes - 1 large onion - 1 medium eggplant - 3-4 medium tomatoes - cheese (optional) - fresh purple basil - olive oil - salt, pepper, oregano
Slice the potatoes, tomatoes, and eggplant into thin rounds, quickly fry the eggplants on both sides in a grill pan. Mix the ground meat with the chopped onion and purple basil, season with salt, pepper, and add a couple of pinches of oregano. Assemble the casserole as follows: - grease with olive oil - 2 layers of potatoes + salt, pepper - layer of eggplants - cheese - layer of potatoes + salt, pepper - ground meat - 2 layers of potatoes + salt, pepper - tomatoes - cheese - layer of potatoes + salt, pepper - layer of cheese added 10 minutes before cooking. Bake in the oven at 200-220°C for about 50 minutes covered with foil, then remove the foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes.
