Sizes: 38/40 (Size 1). 42/44 (Size 2), 46/48 (Size 3), 50/52 (Size 4)

You will need: Bouton d'Or yarn: 15/16/17/18 skeins of Ksar (50% camel wool, 50% sheep wool, 83 m/50 g) gray (208); needles No. 5 and No. 5.5; additional needle; hook No. 4; 8 buttons.

Fancy pattern: odd number of stitches. Row 1 and Row 3 (wrong side): knit; Row 2: 1 edge, 1 knit, *1 purl stitch (yarn behind the stitch), 1 knit*. repeat from * to * and finish with 1 edge; Row 4: 1 edge, 1 purl stitch (yarn behind the stitch), *1 knit, 1 purl stitch (yarn behind the stitch)*, repeat from * to * and finish with 1 edge. Repeat Rows 1 to 4.

Braided pattern: number of stitches multiple of 6 + 1 edge on each side; knit according to the pattern.

6 knits, crossed to the right: slip 3 stitches to an additional needle placed behind, knit the next 3 stitches, then knit the 3 stitches from the additional needle.

6 knits, crossed to the left: slip 3 stitches to an additional needle placed in front, knit the next 3 stitches, then knit the 3 stitches from the additional needle.

Decrease 1 (2) stitches at a distance of 1 stitch from the right edge: 1 knit, 2 (3) stitches together leaning to the left.

Decrease 1 (2) stitches at a distance of 1 stitch from the left edge: knit all stitches except for 3 (4) stitches, 2 (3) stitches together knit, 1 knit.

Knitting density. 
knit stitch, needles No. 5: 17 stitches and 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm; 
fancy pattern, needles No. 5: 17 stitches and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm; 
braided pattern, needles No. 5.5: 24 stitches and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm. 

BACK: cast on 95/101/107/117 stitches on needles No. 5 and knit 5 cm in fancy pattern. 

Continue with knit stitch, decreasing on both sides at a distance of 2 stitches from the edge in every 12th row 4 x 1 stitch and after 10 rows 1 x 1 stitch. You will have 85/91/97/107 stitches left. 

At a height of 32 cm for raglan slopes, bind off 1 x 3 stitches on both sides, then decrease at a distance of 1 stitch from the edge in every 2nd row for Size 1 27 x 1 stitch, for Size 2 2 x 2 stitches and 26 x 1 stitch, for Size 3 3 x 2 stitches and 27 x 1 stitch, for Size 4 6 x 2 stitches and 26 x 1 stitch. 

Attention! After closing 3 stitches, continue knitting in stripes as follows: 8/10/14/18 rows in knit stitch, 8 rows in fancy pattern, 13 rows in braided pattern, 7 rows in fancy pattern (starting from the 2nd row), 13 rows in braided pattern and finish with fancy pattern (starting from the 2nd row).

At a height of 52/53/54/55 cm, set aside the remaining 25 stitches.

RIGHT FRONT: cast on 35/39/41/47 stitches on needles No. 5 and knit 5 cm in fancy pattern. 

Continue with knit stitch, decreasing for Sizes 2 and 4 1 stitch in the 1st row. You will have 35/38/41/46 stitches left. 

Make decreases on the left as for the back. 

At the same time, increase on the right in every 20th row 2 x 1 stitch and in every 14th row 6 x 1 stitch. 

At a height of 32 cm for the raglan slope, bind off 1 x 3 stitches on the left, then decrease at a distance of 1 stitch from the edge in every 2nd row for Size 1 24 x 1 stitch, for Size 2 2 x 2 stitches and 23 x 1 stitch, for Size 3 3 x 2 stitches and 24 x 1 stitch, for Size 4 6 x 2 stitches and 23 x 1 stitch. Knit stripes as for the back. At a height of 50/51/52/53 cm, set aside the remaining 11 stitches.

LEFT FRONT: knit in mirror image.

PLACKET: cast on 29 stitches on needles No. 5 and knit in fancy pattern, binding off on both sides in every 22nd row 8 x 1 stitch. You will have 13 stitches left. 

Make 1 stitch for buttons at a distance of 2 stitches from each edge (bind off 2 stitches and cast them on again in the next row): at a height of 6 cm, then 2 other groups of stitches at a distance of 16 cm from each other. 

At a height of 50/51/52/53 cm, set aside the stitches. 

Knit the second placket the same way, but without buttonholes.

RIGHT SLEEVE: cast on 53/55/59/63 stitches on needles No. 5 and knit 5 cm in fancy pattern. 

Continue with knit stitch, increasing at a distance of 2 stitches from the edge in every 8th row 5 x 1 stitch and in every 10th row 5 x 1 stitch. You will have 73/75/79/83 stitches. 

At a height of 45 cm for raglan slopes, bind off 1 x 3 stitches on both sides, then decrease at a distance of 1 stitch from the edge in every 2nd row for Size 1 24 x 1 stitch, for Size 2 25 x 1 stitch, for Size 3 27 x 1 stitch, for Size 4 29 x 1 stitch. 

Knit stripes as for the back. 

Then decrease at a distance of 1 stitch from the left edge in every 2nd row 3 x 1 stitch and leave on the right in every 2nd row 1 x 6 stitches and 2 x 5 stitches.

LEFT SLEEVE: knit in mirror image.

ASSEMBLY: crochet 1 row of slip stitches and 1 row of single crochet along the edges of the raglan slopes. 

Transfer to the needles 13 stitches of the placket with buttonholes, cast on 1 stitch, 11 stitches of the right front, cast on 1 stitch, 16 stitches of the right sleeve, cast on 1 stitch, 25 stitches of the back, cast on 1 stitch, 16 stitches of the left sleeve, cast on 1 stitch, 11 stitches of the left front, cast on 1 stitch, 13 stitches of the placket. Knit in fancy pattern on needles No. 5, starting from the 2nd row. At a height of 4 cm, make 2 buttonholes: the first 2 stitches from the right edge, the next 3 stitches. At a height of 6 cm, bind off all stitches. 

Sew the buttons.
