Then knit according to the ribbing pattern, knit the middle 17 sts in diamond pattern. At a height of 4 cm, bind off the 7th -10th sts for the thumb hole and in the next row, cast on these sts again. At a height of 30 cm = after 80 rows of the diamond pattern or respectively after the next 2nd row, knit 2 more rows on all sts, alternating 1 knit, 1 purl and then bind off the sts. On double pointed needles cast on 16 sts for the thumb hole and knit in ribbing. At a height of 3 cm, bind off the sts. Make a longitudinal seam. Knit the left arm warmer symmetrically, i.e., for the thumb hole, knit 7 sts after the diamond pattern and then bind off 4 sts.
