Lace top knitting

You will need:

beige yarn «ORLIS Rumba» (100% cotton; 110 m/50 g) – 300g; circular knitting needles #3, double-pointed needles #3.

Ribbing 1x1:

alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.

Main pattern:

knitting in the round: 1st row: * 2 sts together knitwise: 1 st slip as for knit, knit the next st and put the slipped st on it, yarn over, repeat from * 2nd row: knit sts.

Work description:

on double-pointed needles cast on 9 sts to knit the fabric from the center, distribute on 3 needles (3 sts each), knit according to chart 1 polygon with 9 sides, repeat each row of the chart 9 times, the chart shows odd rows, in even rows knit all sts knitwise. Set the work aside, knit a second identical polygon. Fold the two polygons with the wrong sides facing each other. Sew the edges of the two polygons at the shoulder and side seams. When sewing the side seams, pick up 2 cm from the adjacent edges on both sides. Place the neck sts on needles, continue knitting the main pattern to a height of 10 cm. (=32 rows), bind off the sts. Place the sts located along the armhole on needles, knit ribbing 1x1 for 1 cm. (=6 rows), bind off the sts. Place the sts at the bottom edge of the sweater on needles, knit in the round for 3 cm. (= 8 rows) in the main pattern, then 4 cm (= 14 rows) in ribbing 1x1.
